Cooking Club Of America complaint
Cooking club of America of America keeps sending bills for absolutely nothing. Both of these companies have me signed up for clubs I never requested. I keep receiving bills for membership dues for 24.00 dollars each, even though I have tried repeatedly to contact by phone

, and sent several letters canceling any subscriptions or memberships they have me listed for.

A couple of weeks ago I got 2 threatening letters from both companies telling me they were going to turn me over to collections if I did not pay the bils immediately. I know that they are the same company, the letters are identical except the name of the company on the letters. and the senior vice president K.POPE is the same on both letters. The p.o.boxes are 3454 and 3451 both in Minnetonka Minnesota,55343.

Then the other day I got 2 more letters, both from the cooking club saying it was time for them to hire a collection agency to collect the money I owe them. I immediately got online and connected with the Minnesota Attorney General office, downloaded a complaint form. After filing my complaint and mailing it, I contacted their customer service by email telling them to get ready for a war.

I told them of my intensions to file a complaint with the A.G.s office in Minnesota and in Michigan. The A.G.s office in Michigan directed me to the U.S.Postal service to file a complaint against them for mail fraud, which I also filed.

I finally got a response out of them by e-mail saying they were sorry for any misunderstanding and they would cancel my membership, but they need my member number to access the account. *** IT! I DON'T HAVE A MEMBER NUMBER! I sent back all of the bills with the words Cancel written all over them just like it said on each bill I received, because I could never get through on the 888 number listed for customer service department. The message says due to the high number of calls your call cannot be answered today, try back again tomorrow! Can you believe it! Cannot be answered today! WHAT?

This company will not take NO or CANCEL for an answer. They just keep sending threatening bills until you take serious action. Contact Your states Attorney Generals office, the Minnesota Attorney generals office, the U.S. Postmaster general office and file complaints with all of them.
