Scam!!!

I was paying for a membership every year in the beginning and received items to review as well. I eventually paid for the lifetime membership and they applied my past yearly payments towards that so I dont remember exactly what I paid for the lifetime membership. I still have the trivet (the spoon rest just recently bit the dust on the ceramic tile floor) and a bowl that I got to review that I still use almost daily. But then they just disappeared, no more magazines, products, or correspondents. And reading all these reviews Im not the only person going through this. It sucks! Ive been meaning to try to follow up sooner but its been a traumatic past few years. I lost my mom, two other sets of parents of very close friends who were like second parents, my best friend after knee surgery my cousin committed suicide, we were hit by the Moore tornado and had to rebuild, been diagnosed with a blood cancer, a very painful condition called CRPS and diabetesjust too much going on so a magazine was at the bottom of the to do list. I guess we all got scammed by a company that had been in business for quite a while so I thought it was safe to become a lifetime member. If they were just having to go out of business for whatever the reason they could have at the least let us know. Lesson learned!

I purchased a lifetime membership to the "Cooking Club of America" in 12/2001.
